The Arts & Business Council (A&BC) and Valley Leadership have formed a partnership to expand opportunities to prepare and train members of the business community for nonprofit board governance and leadership.
Valley Leadership will offer information and background during Business on Board sessions and A&BC will do the same at Valley Leadership development programs and activities.
“Our goal is for Valley Leadership classes to beexposed to and learn about needs in the community that create opportunities for change and improvement,” said A&BC Executive Director Debbie Paine, a graduate of Valley Leadership Class 27.
Valley Leadership Executive Director Frank McCune said the partnership “is the next logical piece of our efforts to create a diverse pool of professionals ready for board and commission membership to make a difference in the community.”
